Devin Remiker, Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, shared that he comes from a union family and recalled a childhood story of making and delivering a big pot of chili with this Father to a strike line in Two Rivers. “My Dad said, he was part of a union and even though he wasn’’t on strike, that what we do as union members is stand together and support one another.”
It’s a lesson Remiker incorporates into his work at the DPW.
